Our food factory’s Mutton stew is a mouthwatering, rich in ingredients and meaty version that reflects an upper class dish, both due to the amount of meat and the presence of mace. Meat stews formed part of the diet of many households. It is deep fried in spices and flour, and served with beans, potatoes, and carrots.


Product Description


• Half kilogram mutton
• Green chilli – four
• Ginger – one tbsp. Chopped
• Garlic – one tbsp. chopped
• Cardamom – three to four
• Cinnamon – one piece
• Large onion – two
• Clove – three
• Pepper – five to six
• Turmeric powder – half tsps.
• Garam masala – half tsps.
• Tomato – one to two
• Potato – one
• Carrot – one
• Thick Coconut milk – two cups
• Corn flour – one to two tbsp.
• Mutton stock – one cup
• Salt & Oil – consequently
• Curry leaves

Preparation method:

Pressures cook the pieces of mutton with whole masalas, salt, and carrot. Fry the potato pieces and keep aside for some time. Warm the oil in a pan. Add ginger, garlic & green chilies and cook it. Add finely chopped onion and stir till it becomes soft. Now add turmeric powder and also add the cooked pieces of mutton along with carrot and potato and stir constantly. Now add the pieces of tomato and stir constantly. Add the garam masala powder and salt. Add the mutton stock and let it simmer. Now add coconut milk with corn flour paste. Simmer it for five to ten minutes and garnish with curry leaves. Serve hot.
