Product Description


• One kilogram of chicken -skinned and cut into eight to ten pieces
• One teaspoon of ginger paste
• One teaspoon of garlic paste
• One tablespoon salt or as per the requirement
• Curd placed in a colander to drain out excess of water
• Two cloves roasted and powdered
• Half teaspoon dalchini broken, roasted and powdered
• Half teaspoon of kala jeera-roasted and powdered
• a large pinch of saffron
• two tablespoon lemon juice
• one fourth cup (30 gm.) of Maida
• one egg slightly beaten
• one large onion sliced into rings
• one tablespoon chopped pudina for garnish
• one lemon cut into slices

Method of preparation:

Gently wash the chicken, wipe dry, prick in two to three places and blend well all the ingredients, except those for garnishing, and let immerse for two to three hours. Just before serving, place on a drip tray and grid till light brown, or bake in a hot oven for fifteen to twenty minutes. If you cook this recipe in a tandoor, it is even better. A drip-tray is necessary, because the drippings must have a means of escape, otherwise the chicken will be moist. Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices, onion rings, and pudina.
